Spatial Design Hub achieves B Corp Certification

Certification reinforces Spatial Design Hub’s commitment to putting people and place at the heart of design

London, 30/9/2026 – Spatial Design Hub has achieved B Corp Certification, marking an important milestone in its commitment to responsible business and its focus on creating better places for people.

The certification covers Spatial Design Hub and its two sister companies Momentum Transport Consultancy and Eidos Engineering, with the group collectively achieving an overall B Impact Score of 81.8.

The B Impact Assessment evaluates businesses across governance, workers, community, environment and customers, looking at how companies create value for a broad range of stakeholders.

For Spatial Design Hub, the certification reinforces the principles behind its approach to the built environment: understanding the relationship between people, place and infrastructure, and using geospatial design to empower planners, architects and transport professionals to build better-connected places.

James O’Brien, Director at Spatial Design Hub.

James O’Brien, director at Spatial Design Hub, said:

“Good design has an impact well beyond the boundaries of an individual project. It influences how people experience and use places, how communities connect and how environments evolve over time. Becoming a B Corp reflects our belief that businesses involved in shaping the built environment have a responsibility to think about those wider impacts.

“The assessment process has challenged us to look closely at how we operate and where we can improve. We’re delighted to have achieved certification and see it as the beginning of an ongoing commitment rather than an end point. The certification provides a framework for Spatial Design Hub to continue measuring and improving our social and environmental impact."”
